Since 2005, SPIE has produced the annual Women in Optics planner highlighting women who are making a difference through their work in optics and photonics. Over five thousand copies of the planner are printed and distributed, free of charge, in more than 25 countries worldwide each year. This altruistic piece helps inform and inspire young women to see themselves in this growing field.
Now is your opportunity to nominate a woman whose contributions to optics, photonics, or a related field deserves recognition.
Nominee Eligibility Criteria:

The reviewers also evaluate the nominees based on their engagement with the Society and their potential to inspire and inform others about optics.
Renomination:
Any nominee not selected as a planner participant, is welcome to be renominated during the following year by a different nominator. After three cycles of not being selected, the nominee will become ineligible for this recognition.
