Due to US tax regulations scholarship funds can only be used for the qualified expenses you selected in your application. Scholarship funds cannot be used for lab visits, travel, conferences, workshops, lab supplies, room and board, outreach activities, or other expenses that are not required for enrollment or attendance at an eligible educational institution. Inappropriate use of the scholarship funds may disqualify you from receiving future awards from SPIE.
Please include receipts showing how the scholarship funding was spent:
- For security purposes, please redact all personal information such as credit card/bank information, social security number, etc. before uploading.
- Receipt should show your name, description of item purchased in English and the cost.
- Please assemble receipt(s) into one pdf file.
- Upload one pdf file when ready.
